Role Purpose
Ensure inventory accuracy, visibility, and availability across all production departments by maintaining disciplined system transactions, supporting material flow, and acting as the owner of inventory integrity within ERP - Epicor.

Core Responsibilities
1. Inventory Accuracy & Control
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in Epicor (ERP system)
  • Perform and coordinate cycle counts (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies (system vs physical)
  • Ensure proper adjustments, documentation, and root cause tracking
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels for critical materials
2. Transaction Discipline (ERP)
  • Ensure proper execution of:
    • Material issuing
    • Backflushing
    • Job closing transactions
  • Audit transactions across departments for accuracy and compliance
  • Support and train production teams on correct ERP usage
  • Enforce the principle: “If it’s not in the system, it doesn’t exist.”
3. Inventory Visibility & Reporting
  • Ensure materials are:
    • Properly labeled
    • Stored in correct locations
    • Available when required
  • Generate and maintain reports:
    • Inventory accuracy metrics
    • Stock discrepancies
    • Usage trends
  • Communicate risks proactively to:
    • Purchasing
    • Production
    • Scheduling
5. Support Purchasing & Production
  • Provide reliable inventory data to support:
    • Purchasing decisions
    • Production planning
  • Flag potential shortages early
  • Support implementation of:
    • Min/Max levels
    • Stocking strategies for high runners
6. Process Improvement & Standardization
  • Identify and implement improvements to:
    • Inventory processes
    • Material tracking
    • System usage
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve:
    • Throughput
    • Inventory accuracy
    • Operational efficiency
